Being a busy mum of young children, I will be the first person to admit that there are days when I feel like I am on a hamster wheel, literally chasing my tail from one end of the day till the next, just trying to keep all the little balls of family life in the air.
Often, some things just get pushed to the side or put on hold, because there are just not enough hours in the day.
And much as I know that this is what it is like for most young families, and remind myself to soak up the chaos and pace and frantic flurry of these days for all they are worth, I do also feel like I need to get better at making sure that things I want to do or happen will happen.
This video that I came across a while ago touched upon all those feelings, reminding me how important it is to make the most of my time and routine.
The beauty of it is that it will have that effect on everyone, but in a lovely way that won't leave you feeling upset or unfulfilled, just more determined than ever to make your dreams and plans and wishes a reality. And to make the most of all our days. Sometimes we all need that reminder, I think.
