Earlier this year the beauty brand asked women about their lifestyle: Nearly half said they were feeling moderately or extremely stressed; 40 per cent admitted to feeling like they're about to burn out; 80 per cent said they put too much pressure on themselves to be perfect (even though we accomplish an average of 26 tasks a day).
Sanctuary said, "From our everyday never-ending to-do lists to the pressure the media puts on us to be the 'perfect' woman. We rush around trying to do more, be more, give more. But we don’t need to be like this 24/7, it’s not healthy. We need to #LetGo of all this pressure every now and again."
In a mission to get women to relax, breathe and let go, the company has created a film with advice from women who are aged between 55 and 82, and who truly know the importance of stepping back to appreciate life’s precious moments.
One woman shares, "What I wouldn't give to extend those goodnight kisses, instead of moaning about having to get up early in the morning."
Another woman says, "What I wouldn't give for an extra second of cuddling my babies before they became too big to hold."
As you can probably imagine, the video is a bit of a tearjerker, but it's one that is WELL worth a watch.
