10 year old girl’s fake nails go viral after mum says no to acrylics

Melissa Carton

These are impressive!

This ten-year-old girl has gone viral after she found a loophole around her mother telling her that she couldn’t get acrylic nails.

The little girl’s mother, 31-year-old Serafina Peña, told her she was too young for fake nails but that didn’t stop her daughter. Instead, the clever little girl made her own fake nails and they are going viral.

Yes, you read that correctly, she made her own acrylic nails…out of clay.

To be honest, until I read they were clay I hadn’t even noticed and had to take a second look and all I can say is wow!

The little girl was so delighted with the big response to her first set of homemade press on nails that she decided to make more.

The tweets have been shared thousands of times with many commenters encouraging her parents to invest in buying her some more crafting supplies.

Others though were more interested in getting some Play Doh press ons for themselves.

One reply suggested buying her these practice fingers and even though I’m sure they are really useful, they are pure nightmare fuel that I’m pretty sure no parent wants in their house.

The response to this little girl and her homemade nails was so huge that her mum has since had to mute her tweets but she did thank everyone for their kind words and support.

I have to say they are pretty cool and I’m still trying to figure out how she got them so neat. I’m almost 30 and I still mess up my right hand when I try to do my own nails.

What do you think of this little girl and her seriously crafty way of getting around her mother’s no acrylics rule?
