Busy Philipps receives backlash for saying her daughter was separated from her on a flight

Busy Philipps has received backlash for saying that her daughter was separated from her on a flight.

The mum claimed that her nine-year-old was rerouted on a different flight after their original flight was cancelled. She called out Delta Air Lines on Twitter, saying:

"Hey @Delta! Thanks for cancelling my flight and then rerouting us and separating my MINOR child onto a different flight than mine and having a 2 HR call time wait!"

However, later on when somebody asked Busy if she had let the airline separate her from her child, she wrote "No, I would NEVER." She also later revealed that Delta eventually found a flight they could both get on a 2.30am.
