Applications close this week!

If your child loves to sing and be on stage then this might be right up their alley.

Junior Eurovision is looking for the next star of 2018 and you never know, it could be someone in your home!

Entries are now open for this year’s competition but anyone wanting to apply must do so by this week, Thursday, August 23.

Applications are open to children aged between nine and 14, with the winner getting to perform this November in Minsk, Belarus.

Previous winners include Aimee Banks in 2015, Zena Donnelly in 2016 and last year’s winner Muireann McDonnell.

During the competition, the resident judging panel of Fiachna Ó Braonáin and Pauline Avalon will be joined each week by a guest judge from Ireland’s Eurovision past.

The competition will air on TG4.

So does your child have what it takes?

If so they can apply over the phone at 01-284 3877 or 083 058 0229 or by email at [email protected].

Equally, applications can be made directly through the Junior Eurovision website.

So what are you waiting for? Your child might just be the next big chart topper!
