A link has been found between bad behaviour in kids and success in adulthood

What do you think about this?

New research has found that there’s a link between your child having a temper tantrum and them being successful later on in life.

As we all know, it’s never fun to watch your child scream down the place. They’re upset, you’re upset and it’s generally a stressful and frustrating time for both of you – no matter what the reason.

And then when they grow up, it can be just as frustrating to see them acting out.

However, this new study published in Developmental Psychology, found a link between unruly behaviour in a child’s early years and success later on in life.

Children at the age of 12 were studied in the research, and were then again studied at the age of 52.

Socioeconomic status, intelligence, and behaviours such as school entitlement, inattentiveness, pessimism and rule-breaking were all looked at when the people where children.

When they reached the age of 52, their jobs and income were then taken into account.

Those who had temper tantrums as children or acted out as preteens were found to be better off financially when they became adults.

It’s an interesting one.
