Chris Pratt has been called “evil” after sharing a touching video of himself and his son.

The Hollywood actor took to Instagram yesterday to share a video of he and son, Jack, running around their farm.

There are also some sheep present.

It’s nice.

In the post’s caption, Chris wrote that he was missing his son and missing the “farm life.”

He said:

“Missing home, missing the farm, missing the boy, missing the island.

“So I’m sharing this video as a way to express my gratitude for all the blessings in my life and to entice any of you watching this who may feel unease or anxiety with the state of our world to just breathe, slow down, go outside, find something not man made and give it a good look.

“A leaf. A bug. A cloud. A sheep.”

A lovely sentiment, I think we can all agree.

There were some people on Chris’s Instagram, however, who didn’t think the post was all that lovely.

In fact, some of them thought it was “evil” due to the fact that the sheep present in Chris’s video would be most likely facing slaughter soon.

“Too bad you kill your pets for food,” wrote one user.

“Poor animals, they all become dinner soon. So evil,” said another.

One person even said that Chris shouldn’t own animals because “you can’t say you love something then needlessly slaughter it. So wrong.”

Chris has faced criticism in the past for sharing videos of animal carcasses.

However, this video is not of an animal carcass – it’s of sheep running around a field, and Chris’s son chasing after them.

As a person who does not eat meat, criticising others for doing so is not really something I’m interested in.

Perhaps telling people the benefits of vegetarianism and veganism in a calm manner will encourage more people to cut down their intake and save more animals.

But until then, the Instagram trolls live on.
