What had you achieved when you were five-years-old?
Had you started big school? Learned to lie your laces? Been dubbed the most beautiful girl in the world on Instagram after a photographer uploaded some of your headshots thrusting you into the limelight?
Yeah, same, to be honest.
Or not same at all because that absolutely didn’t happen to us and we’re OK that it didn’t because being the most beautiful girl in the world at five-years-old is a lot of pressure and we don’t quite know if we’d be able for it, honestly.
Kinda glad we’re not this little girl then.
Her name is Jare, she’s from Nigeria, and people on Instagram are calling her, “doll-like,”, “stunning,” and “the most beautiful girl in the world.”
No pressure then.
Jare’s photo was shared by photographer Mofe Bamuyiwa, who uploaded a few photos of the girl to her Instagram account saying, “Oh yes, she’s human.”
Mofe wrote that she wanted to “portray her interception from childhood and adulthood” through the photos.
She wrote:
“I could have made her smile and make her laugh out loud but I put her in their natural moments for us to see through their eyes.
“Posing them as adults was my trick to create it a timeless portrait. J A R E , when you clock 21 remember to do same pose and style.”
Not entirely sure how we feel about posing children as adults when they’re five-years-old, but yeah OK girl, you do you.
While the photos of Jare garnered a lot of positive attention online, others found the images uncomfortable and the comments beneath them even more so.
As well as this, many people also accused the photographer of photoshopping the photos.
But who knows, lads, maybe she does just have flawless skin – she is a five-year-old.
