Are you ready to rock?

Girls Rock Dublin have announced that they are bringing back their hugely successful ‘Girls Rock’ camp this summer and they’re looking for applicants.

The camp, taking place in Sound Training College, Dublin is aimed at teenage girls looking to make new friends and create a lot of new music.

The five day long camp will see your daughter form a band, write a song, learn how to play it and ultimately perform on a stage in front of friends and family.

All campers receive coaching throughout so they don’t have to worry if they’ve never used an instrument before.

The cost of the camp is €290 which includes all tuition, workshops, lunch, instruments and rehearsal facilities. Installment options and scholarships are also available.

During the summer I travelled with Girls Rock Dublin to Berlin to take part in Music Empowerment Mobility Exchange with my daughter and it was an absolutely incredible experience.

Girls Rock camp will take place from Tue 25 to Sat 29 June 2018, 9:30AM to 4:30PM and is open to teenage girls (trans and cis) aged between 12 and 17.

If your child would like to sign up and rock out this summer they can through the online application here.
