Hilary Duff has addressed criticism of a photo of her kissing her son years ago.
The photo showed the singer and actor kissing her then three-year-old son, Luca, on the lips at Disneyland.
Duff was criticised for the photo and called “disgusting” by people who thought it was unacceptable for a mother to kiss her son on the lips.
In a recent interview, the soon-to-be mum-of-two gave some advice to those who were critical of her parenting.
Basically, she told them to give up and stop following her because she wasn’t doing anything wrong.

Duff told InStyle:
“I’ve seen stuff on the internet a couple years back when we were at Disneyland and I posted a picture of Luca and I kissing on the lips. People were like, ‘That’s disgusting.'”
“First of all, he was three. Kiss your kids, and anyone who doesn’t like it can hit unfollow. Not interested in what you have to say.”

She went on to say that Luca, now six-years-old, is looking forward to becoming a big brother. Duff said that it had just been she and him for six years, so it was “a big conversation to have.”

She said:
“I was also shooting in New York at the time, so I waited a little bit to tell him until I could be home with him.
“But I think he’s going to be a great big brother. He’s such a sweet kid and has such a gentle soul, so I know he’s going to be great with her.”
Hilary announced that she was expecting her second child a few months ago.

She and boyfriend Matthew Koma shared the happy news over on Instagram in June, saying that they had “made a little princess of our own.”
Duff had six-year-old Luca with her ex-husband Mike Comrie.
