Jamie Oliver had admitted to tracking his 16-year-old daughter’s location on an app.

The celebrity chef said that he uses an app called Life360 to track the whereabouts of 16-year-old Poppy and 15-year-old Daisy.

He told Woman magazine:

“The older girls, Jools and I are all on an app called Life360, which means we can see exactly where everybody is and the route they’ve gone.

“So if one of the girls says, ‘I’m going to Camden Town’ and I can see they’ve gone to Reading, then we have a problem.”

Jamie added that his daughter’s can “check on” him too using the app, “and see how fast I’m driving. It’s brilliant.”

The app’s website boasts that the technology is “your new family circle.”

Using location services, group chats, and check-in requests, the Life360 app suggests that it wants to keep families “connected – no matter what chaos life throws their way.”

This comes a short time after Jamie chased a burglar down the street after they attempt to rob his house.

The TV personality allegedly held the man down on the ground near his home in north London until the police arrived.

A neighbour told The Mirror: “It was just a brave, selfless thing to do.

“Despite the clearly very hairy situation, Jamie was laughing and joking with the coppers saying they’d done a great job to arrive so quickly after the 999 call.

“Everyone is really thankful for his quick thinking and courage.”
