Go on, Jack.
Everybody loves a good weather presenter.
Whether they’re Alan Hughes or Evelyn Cusack, as a collective nation we just can’t get enough of someone standing in front of a green screen and telling us how long it’s going to rain for.
It’s the simple things.
And yesterday evening, a Kerry boy got to fulfil all of our wildest dreams and legit present the weather on RTE.
He honest did it, like. Fair play to him.

The boy’s name is Jack and he goes to Scartaglen National School in Kerry.
He was graced with the opportunity to present the weather on RTE because he won their weather-based competition.
In the clip, Jack tells viewers all about how mild the day is going to be, with temperatures reaching 10 to 14 degrees.
He also adds that tomorrow will be a “lovely day” but will include “scattered thundery showers in the west.”
Good to know.
The clip was shared by RTE’s news2day Twitter account and has already received a lot of comments from people asking Jack to present the weather every day.
Same, to be honest.
