Why have I never thought of this?
Like most boys my son is addicted to his video games. The minute he has his homework done the video games are on and before I know it there are arguments between himself and his sister over who gets what controller.
At the weekends it’s hard to even know he’s home because he’s in his room with his headphones on playing Sonic. Growing up with a younger brother I’m all too aware just how much lads like video games. Even though I would play them myself I came nowhere near clocking the hours that my brother did.
One mum got a little fed up with her son never budging from his room once the Playstation got switched on. In particular she was fed up with him asking for a drink without wanting to move from his bed.
To deal with this problem she came up with an ingenious solution and I’m thinking about incorporating it into my own home.
Problem solved!
Yes the clever mum went and purchased a water feeder from a pet shop and attached it to her son’s bed so he can sip to his heart’s content.

The mum’s post has been liked on Facebook over 6,000 times and I’m right there with them. Whatever about video games this mum is winning the parenting game hands down!
