Nooo! Our favourite Netflix kid’s TV show has been cancelled

Jade Hayden

Why were we not informed sooner?

When it comes to kid’s TV, there are only a handful of shows that both parents and children alike can enjoy.

Usually, it’s the mams and dads who are left pretending like they’re enjoying whatever it is that’s unfolding on the screen before them, desperately trying to hide the fact that they really aren’t being entertained or challenged by whatever’s happening.

It’s TV for children after all, it’s not for us – what do we expect?

But then Netflix’s A Series Of Unfortunate Events came along and it provided children with something to watch and adults with an assortment of stories to get absolutely engrossed in.

Just as long as those children weren’t under the age of about 10… Might be slightly inappropriate for them.

If you haven yet to see any of the show yourself, it’s funny, it’s extremely intelligent, and it’s an absolutely stunning watch.

None of that matters now though of course because A Series Of Unfortunate Events has been cancelled after its second season – meaning that we’ll never get to find out if Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire ever escaped the clutches of the notorious Count Olaf.

… Or we could just switch off our devices and go read the books instead.

Either or.

Luckily though, the first two seasons of the show are still available to stream so if you haven’t had a watch of the best kid’s TV show of the past couple of years, get on it.
