Melissa Carton

Does your child fancy being a radio presenter?

If your child has ever dreamed of starting their own podcast or presenting for one of the big radio stations then they will absolutely love this course.

The week-long summer course is hosted by the team that brings you the popular station Christmas FM every year.

During the course, your child will learn everything they need to know to be a radio pro and even produce their own show.

The course runs from Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12 and is open to any teenager between the ages of 14 and 18.

Located in Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin your child will get to experience everything it takes to create a radio show.

During the week your teen will learn how to record, edit and produce audio for radio. They will then produce and present a radio programme taking account of all technical techniques, such as microphone use, digital editing and formatting, ensuring broadcast quality.

The summer course runs from 10 am – 4 pm each day and costs €249 for the five days. Payment can be done in instalments.

If you would like to book a place for your future radio presenter you can through the Radio Training website.
