Ah, stop.
Losing a pet is tough.
Not only do you have to deal with the fact that you'll never see or spend time with that fluffy friend again, but if they're getting put to sleep, the dread tends to be so much worse.
That's why it generally helps to have somebody there to tell you that it's all going to be okay.
Usually, that person tends to be a friend or a family member.
It isn't usually a little boy in the class that you're a teacher of, but the world works in mysterious ways and who are we to question it?
A student in Lucie Dunne's mum's class did just that when they heard that their dog, Charlie, was set to be put to sleep.
Lucie took to Twitter to share some photos of the card that the little boy, Callum, wrote for her mum.
And, warning, it's pretty emotional.
The first page of the card is as follows.
In case you can't read it, it says: "To Mrs Dunne, sorry if you don't like it or it makes you emotional."
Already pulling on our heartstrings here, lad.
It goes on.
Callum went on to say he was sorry that Ms Dunne's dog was being put to sleep, and then proceeded to list all of the things that Charlie was based on the letters in his name.
Callum said that Charlie was cheeky, happy, adorable, related to her, lucky, incredible, energetic, and most of all, special.
The boy also said he knew Charlie was in a better place and "looking over you."
Honestly, too much.
Callum finished his card by drawing a picture of some sweets and saying that Charlie was "a great dog."
