There’s an adapted sensory friendly Panto performance happening in Dublin this Christmas

Jade Hayden

A great addition to the Panto season.

This year, an adapted sensory friendly Panto performance will be happening in Dublin’s The Helix theatre, giving children with autism or those who are sensitive to loud sounds and lights the chance to experience the show too.

The Three Musketeers is the Panto of choice and it’ll be running in the theatre from Friday 22 November 2019 to Sunday 19 January 2020.

Starring Irish tenor Paul Byrom, TheatreworX Productions have promised to put on a show with a new script featuring plenty of twists, turns and adventure.

There’ll also be a lot of songs, a good bit of dance, and a decent bit of comedy for all the family to enjoy.

A special adapted sensory friendly performance will also take place on Wednesday 18 December, which will include no sudden noises or bangs, softer and brighter lighting, and music at a suitable level.

A great addition to the run, tbh.

“I’m excited to return to The Helix Panto stage this Christmas for another great run,” said Byrom.

“I’m looking forward to the laughs and of course working with the wonderful cast and the TheatreworkX team as they mark their 12th anniversary show.”

The Three Musketeers will begin its eight week run from November 22 2019 to January 19 2020. Tickets, priced from €17.50 are on sale now here.
