Ireland Baldwin says dad Alec expecting his 8th child is “none of my business”

She has no siblings from her mum but a fair few from her dad.

Alec Baldwin’s daughter Ireland has said her dad’s ever-expanding family is none of her business.

The eldest of the actor’s soon-to-be brood of eight took to Instagram to vent her frustration at a number of comments she deals with on social media, including those about her appearance and constantly being asked how she feels about becoming a big sister again.

“I get countless messages from people who are kind of alarmingly obsessed with my father and his family,” the 26-year-old wrote.

“I think a lot of people assume my take on any of this, well here it is for free — it’s none of my business.”

Ireland, who Alec shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger, added: “I don’t care. My life is here in Oregon with my boyfriend, 6 dogs and my new business. I smoke weed, I eat good food, and I mind MY business.”

Alec and his wife Hilaria recently announced they are expecting their seventh child together. The couple are already parents to daughters Carmen, 8, and Lucía, 13 months, as well as sons Rafael, 6, Leonardo, 5, Romeo, 3, and Eduardo, 18 months.

“After many ups and downs over the past few years, we have an exciting up and a huge surprise: another Baldwinito is coming this fall,” Hilaria wrote. “We were pretty sure our family was complete, and we’re beyond happy with this surprise.”

Elsewhere in her post, Ireland acknowledged how much her actor dad and model mum contributed to the opportunities she has been given.

“Believe me, I do not lack the self-awareness. My parents have been very helpful in my life,” she wrote, adding that she previously felt pressure to get their approval.
