But it isn’t returning to Netflix until 2022!

Netflix just released a teaser trailer for season 4 of Stranger Things and it’s safe to say we cannot wait for it.

However, they’ve also just confirmed that new episodes of the addictive series won’t be available until 2022.

2021 really is just the year of never-ending disappointments.

We may have to wait for ages for new episodes, but we’re in for a real treat. Season 4 is bound to be as gripping as ever if the easier trailer is anything to go by.

Luckily, the streaming service is full of series to keep us ticking by until Stranger Things returns next year.

Here are just some of the shows you can sink your teeth into while we wait.

1. Superstore

If you liked Brooklyn Nine-Nine then Superstore is the one for you. It’s witty, easy to watch, and surprisingly moving at times. The show follows a group of workers in a Cloud 9 superstore in America. Ben Feldman, America Ferrera, and Lauren Ash star in the popular series.

2. Virgin River

This is one of Netflix’s most popular shows and we’re not one bit surprised. It’s dramatic, comforting, and a little cheesy. What more could you want? Virgin River follows nurse practitioner Mel, who leaves her old life behind to start over in small town Virgin River.

3. The Society

A storm forces busloads of Connecticut students to cancel their extended camping trip and return home, but something has changed in their hometown. All of the town’s adults have vanished. Their newfound freedom is fun at first, but it quickly becomes dangerous. While they struggle to figure out what has happened to them and how to get the town back to normal, the teens must establish order and form alliances in order to survive.

4. The Serpent

The limited British series is one you just have to add to your to watch list. Set in the mid-1970s, the story follows Charles Sobhraj, a French serial killer of Indian and Vietnamese descent, as he drugs and robs travelers,. He steals his victims’ passports and identities to travel the world and sells stolen gems with girlfriend Marie-Andrée Leclerc. Sobhraj is at the height of his crimes when a Dutch diplomat, Herman Knippenberg, begins investigating the murders of Dutch tourists and uncovers clues leading to Sobhraj.

5. Never Have I Ever

The series, based on Mindy Kaling’s childhood, has got to be one of the best comedies on the streaming service. It follows the life of teen girl Devi as she grapples with life as an Indian-American teenager in high school. Sharp, eye-opening and hilarious, this is the perfect series to watch when you need to switch off.
