People called her “Plastic Chopra”

Priyanka Chopra opened up about her botched cosmetic surgery that led to her being labelled “Plastic Chopra” in the early 2000’s.

The actress had an honest conversation on The Howard Stern Show about about the removal of a polyp in her nasal cavity that went wrong.

She said after the procedure, she looked completely different and struggled with depression as a result.

Chopra explained that she was fired from acting and modelling projects she was already working on and feared it would end her entire career.

Her late father, Ashok who was a doctor himself, persuaded the star to go under the knife again for corrective surgery and despite her concerns, she did.

He was even in the surgery room with her holding her hand.

According to The Daily Mail, Priyanka said: “He held my hands through it and helped me build back my confidence.”
