Yes, folks, the first trailer for the Friends reunion has arrived, the release date and a host of celebrity guests have also been announced which means nature is healing and life is good again.
In even better news, we don’t have long to wait as the much-anticipated return of our six favourite characters will be happening at the end of this month.
Friends: The Reunion will be available on the HBO Max streaming service from 27 May after the sitcom’s original cast was able to get together and film last month. All six members of the original cast – Matthew Perry (Chandler), Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey) and David Schwimmer (Ross) – are set to take part.
In true Friends fashion, the whole cast simultaneously released the trailer for the reunion on their social media platforms on Thursday. A caption on the trailer teases the special as: “The One Where They Get Back Together”.

Fans can also get excited about some of the celebrity guest appearances including BTS, Cara Delevingne, Cindy Crawford, David Beckham, James Corden, Justin Bieber, Kit Harington, Lady Gaga, Malala Yousafzai and Mindy Kaling to name but a few.
Friends was one of the biggest sitcoms of the 90s and ended after 10 series in 2004, the show has since found a new generation of fans thanks to re-runs and streaming services like Netflix. Although there’s no Irish release date as yet, it’s expected to become available here shortly after the US premiere.
