A Sleeping Beauty pantomime is coming to Limerick this Christmas

A pantomime production of Sleeping Beauty is set to take centre stage in the Treaty this December.

For the eleventh year, the University Concert Hall (UCH) in Limerick will be home to the Christmas pantomime, with Robert C. Kelly’s Sleeping Beauty as the 2023 entertainment experience.

Sleeping Beauty follows last year’s sell-out Peter Pan pantomime, and it promises to deliver even more magic for its audience this year.

This is an incredible family activity, as it welcomes audience members of all ages to come watch the talented cast in their colourful costumes on stunning sets with a host of musical hits.

The cast includes panto favourites Richie Hayes as Muddles, legendary panto Dame Myles Breen as Nurse Noni, Ruth Berkley as Maleficent, John Sharpson as Dobbie, Evan O’Hanlon as Prince Peter, Esther Brady as Princess Beauty, and renowned writer, actor, comedian, and television presenter Bernard O’Shea (as King Seamus).

Speaking ahead of the production, Kelly praised the county of Limerick as their ‘second home’.

“Audiences have been welcoming our large-scale family panto since 2012, and audiences here are some of the best in the world.

“We look forward to delivering another exciting and fun production this year and sharing the joy and happiness that Panto brings to more people than ever!”

Tickets for UCH Limerick’s pantomime production of Sleeping Beauty start at €25 and are on sale now.

There are a range of sold-out school shows from December 18th until 22nd, with general audience shows running from December 3rd to January 14th, 2024, along with a relaxed show on January 4th, 2024.

Book now to avoid disappointment.
