Sienna Miller has revealed she froze her eggs after feeling “pressure” about having more kids.
In an interview with Elle, the actress said she froze her eggs after turning 40 and no longer feels an immediate sense of pressure.
Already a mum-of-one, Sienna said leaving her 30s behind came with “pressure… [about] kids, and should I have more, and why haven’t I, and all of that, which is a really loud noise”.
“Biology is incredibly cruel on women in that decade – that’s the headline, or it certainly was for me,” she shared. “Then I got to 40 and I froze some eggs.”
The American Woman star said the milestone birthday helped her ignore the noise and feel “much less anxiety” as she realised she is “on some sort of life journey”.
“Having been really focused on the need to have another baby, I’m just like, if it happens, it happens,” she continued. “That kind of existential threat has dissipated.”
