You can now get wine-infused coffee – because that’s a thing we definitely need

Trine Jensen-Burke

Have you ever had one of those mornings that are so rough you actually briefly contemplate adding a little drop of wine to your morning coffee?

Well, mamas – have we got news for you!

Thanks to a new, wine-infused coffee from a Napa Valley-based company, you can now actually have the best of both worlds in one delicious cup – and no-one can judge you even a little bit for it.

That’s right – the  Molinari Private Reserve makes wine-infused coffee make their insanely life-changing-sounding beverage by letting coffee beans sit in a bath of red wine, absorbing the flavours, before drying and roasting the beans as per normal.

Now, the beans don’t come cheap at $20 for a half-pound bag – but we sort of think it is all sorts of worth it, no? Oh, and you can drink it any way you want, as in black, in a latte or as espresso – but according to the company themselves, adding milk to the coffee brings out the wine flavour even more, while having it black “emphasises the blueberry essence.”

To be fair, both sound equally AH-MAZING to us.
