Few things in life is as delicious as homemade pizza, but so often the thought of preparing the dough has us dialling a takeaway before you can say the words “supposed to cut back on take-out budget…”
Well, guys, we have so great (and money-saving!) news for you.
Say hello to the two-ingredient pizza dough.
Not only is it child’s play to make; you probably also already have what you need, right at home in your own kitchen.
What you need
1½ cups self-rising flour and 1 cup full-fat, plain Greek yogurt. (Plus the pizza toppings of your choice, of course!)
How:
In the bowl of an electric mixer (use the dough-hook attachment) mix the flour with the Greek yogurt on low speed to combine. Then, remove the dough from the bowl, place on a well-floured surface and knead for about five minutes. (Note: If the dough seems too wet to the touch or sticks to your work surface, you can add flour in small amounts as needed.)
Now roll the dough into a pizza-sized circle, and place it on a round baking sheet. Brush the surface with olive oil and add the toppings.
Place the baking sheet in a pre-heated oven, and bake at 225°c for 10 to 12 minutes.
Now, tuck in!
