This little Wicklow house is for sale and looks totally different on the inside

We weren't expecting this!

We weren’t expecting this.

From the outside, this home situated in Kilmacanogue, Co Wicklow looks like any other property of its age. One you’d expect to probably have some quaint interior or aged furniture, but what you get is actually far from our preconceived ideas.

Inside this three bed, two bathroom home is actually a very bright space, full of boho-inspired interiors with carefully chosen elements in terms of lighting and carpets.

The interiors mimic the back garden which is full of plants that only leave way for stoned paths – making you feel like you’re in a little forest.

Here’s a look inside…

Our favourite area has got the be the open plan kitchen and dining room. This space opens out on to another garden, giving the room plenty of light and making it a dream for barbeques and entertaining during the summer.

We also adore this little corner, featuring the colours of the garden – this room brings in elements of the outdoors.

Also, we can imagine this is such a sun trap.

Continuing on with that boho feel, the main bedroom is again giving us plenty of light thanks to the large sliding door which opens out onto the garden of flowers.

The sitting room also features some contrasting prints that again work well in creating that hippie-chic vibe.

One of the properties stunning gardens, full of beautiful flowers and stoned paths.

The house is currently on the market for €625,000 with MyHome.ie  – who described the property as follows:

“The interior design of the house is reflected in the delightful landscape designed mediterranean style courtyard, to the rear of the house. Surrounding a central olive tree, the drystone raised beds are filled with flowering plants in delicate shades of pink, purple and blue giving this secluded area of all day sun, year-round colour and interest.”

The house also has an “uninterrupted views of the Great and Little Sugar Loaf, Carraigoona Hill, Killiney Hill, Sorrento Terrace and the Irish Sea” making it a dream for anyone and everyone who likes to feel at one with nature.

Gorge.
