More than 15 years after it went off the air, the Friends reunion is officially happening.

And could we BE any more excited?

Yes, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc are getting back together for a special celebration of the series – which will be available on HBO Max.

The streaming service confirmed the news in an Instagram Story on Friday.

“The one where they got back together,” they wrote. “The Friends cast set to reunite for exclusive HBO Max special #FriendsReunion #HBOMax.”

The unscripted reunion will see the entire cast return to Friends’ soundstage on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in California. Subscribers will be able to watch it (as well as the 236 episodes of Friends) when the streaming service launches in May.

“Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together — we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa, and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire Friends library,” Kevin Reilly, chief content officer, HBO Max and president, TBS, TNT, and truTV said [via PEOPLE].

“I became aware of Friends when it was in the very early stages of development and then had the opportunity to work on the series many years later and have delighted in seeing it catch on with viewers generation after generation. It taps into an era when friends – and audiences – gathered together in real time and we think this reunion special will capture that spirit, uniting original and new fans.”

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc all took to Instagram to celebrate the special.

“It’s happening,” they each captioned the same cast photo, except for LeBlanc – who jokingly posted a photo of the MASH cast.
