Baby showers seem to be pretty standard these days – not least if you’re a celebrity sort of individual.
And Aussie-native Storm Keating – who is five weeks away from giving birth to her first child – held a pretty impressive pre-baby soiree back in Oz over the weekend.
With bottles of chilled bubbly, juice, elaborate cakes, and sweets all on offer for the former X Factor producer, she was gifted with the likes of a babygro in the pattern and colours of an Australian rugby jersey.
The 36-year-old has been married to Dubliner and dad-of-three Ronan for two years. The couple is in Sydney in advance of the birth – so understandably her friends and family had wanted to spoil her.
Sharing a collage of the day, Queensland-born Storm wrote on Instagram: “Such a beautiful day with the beautiful women in my life. So blessed to be surrounded by such love, thoughtfulness & generosity. Thank you ladies.”
Boyzone star Mr Keating, previously married to model Yvonne Connolly, said on local radio in Sydney on Thursday that he’s really been looking after his pregnant wife, adding: “She has embraced the whole thing in such an incredible way. I’m excited to see her as a mother I have to say.
Ronan also revealed that he’s been slaving away on the new baby’s nursery back in London, and that it is now “incredible”.
And the singer has another reason to celebrate this weekend: he turns 40 tomorrow and is currently out enjoying a lunch with a dozen of his nearest and dearest.
