TikToker shares ‘simple’ way to cut drying time on your clothes and save money

A TikToker has revealed a great hack for drying your clothes that will save you time and money.
The weather is preventing us all from drying our clothes outside on a line and so we're depending on our dryers a whole lot more - despite it being June!
If you don't have space for a clothes horse - or can't stand the site of them - this is going to be a great trick to try out.
The TikTokers, who posts under the name 'The Cosby Club' (@the.cosyclub) regularly share life hacks, and their post about drying wet clothes faster is going viral.
"Watch this if you want to dry clothes two times faster. Chuck in a towel. Easy," they captioned the video.
"Simple but works," they said.

The video starts with a look at the dryer tumbling. Then, one of the people behind the TikTok account throws in a dry towel.
While you might be skeptical on this one, according to Laura Avila, a professional cleaner, the hack works in real life.
"The towel absorbs some of the moisture from the wet clothes, which reduces the overall drying time," she told Homes and Gardens.
A dry towel creates more air space in the dryer, which allows "hot air to circulate more freely," she explained.
Now... let's all give it a go!
