Financial intermediary company Finance One are running a first-time buyers event that will help answer any questions you have about the mortgage process. They will also set up a meeting after the event and talk you through everything you need to do to go from pending to approved and it's all completely free of charge.   Recently I wrote about my own experience going through the mortgage process as a first-time buyer and Finance One was a big part of it. The staff not only helped me figure out what banks would provide the best mortgage to suit my needs but also helped with sourcing solicitors and home insurance after I had been approved. The mortgage process can be daunting but Finance One really helped to take the stress out of it for me. Within a couple of months of attending their first-time buyer's event last year, I received my mortgage approval.
