With spring and a change in weather (hopefully!) around the corner, comes not only a mild case of bikini-body panic, but also a desire to refresh and renew our entire surrounding.

But seeing as the bikini body panic will have to wait until after we are finished scoffing all the chocolate for Valentine’s, Mother’s Day AND Easter, we are turning all our attention to gorgeous buys for our homes, are trust us, there are some seriously lust-worthy things to be found.

1. Copper Pendant Light

We are still not ready to let go of all things metal, and have currently fallen a little (a lot) in love with these Lene Bjerre copper pendants.

Two or three of these over your dining table or kitchen island will give your kitchen that perfect mix of glam and industrial – and sure who wouldn’t want that.

2. Boho Copper Table Set

What did we say about our copper addiction…? Anyway, these stylish side tables can be bought separate or as a set, and we think they make for the most stylish way to display some trinkets or even just put down your cuppa on.

Oh, and not only do they make for super chic side-tables in a living room or bedroom, but because the table tops are removable, you can store all sorts inside (magazines/ large succulent perhaps?) – yup, very versatile indeed.

3. Gold Sequin Dipped Seagrass Basket

When you have children in the house, let’s all agree that there is always so much stuff floating about. Shopkins, tiny little lurking-the-carpet metal cars, books, teddies, you name it, we have floors covered in it.

Which is why we are planning on investing in a couple of these super-cool seagrass baskets, meaning that should visitors come knocking, we have somewhere practical (and fabulous!) to hide all our mess!

4. Pressed Bamboo Coasters

We love pretty much everything available in Zara Home, and pray they will see sense and open an actual shop here on our shores soon (so we don’t have to keep lugging everything back from Spain in our holiday suitcases!).

In the meantime, we will remain happy that they at least ship here, and have made a mental note to order these simple and stylish bamboo coasters for our summer table.

5. Helen James Considered Ludlow Cereal Bowl

Is it just us, or is the entire Considered by Helen James collection at Dunnes Stores totally amazing?

We have previously expressed our love for the incredibly stylish Tribeca chairs that are part of the collection, and now we are looking to replace every cereal bowl in the house with these stunning blue ones. The best bit? They are totally affordable too!

6. Blue Azure by Maz Benjamin Candle

Surely nothing says spring like a scent that just screams sea salty air, citrus, and blue skies, no? Which is why we are totally going to be stocking up on the new scented candles by our favourite Irish candle maker, Max Benjamin.

Just imagine lighting one of these as you are sitting on your patio, sipping some rosé…

7. Painted Desert Rug

Rugs are everywhere lately (if you are a Pinterest fan like us, you’ll be aware of this, of course). There are about a million styles to choose from, and so hence therefore pretty easy to find one that suits your home and style.

Rugs are an easy way to inject some statement in any space by adding bold pattern and bright colors, and as I am currently on the hunt for one to spruce up our very minimal dining area, I think this gorgeous and multi-coloured one would be perfect!

8. Luxury Hotel Collection White Bed Linen

Few things beat going to bed in crisp, new, clean and white bed sheets for me. It is one of life’s absolute everyday luxuries. And they have to be white, I cannot sleep in any other colour sheets (something I get mocked a bit about, but seriously; try it for yourself, and you will realize white sheets just makes for better, calmer, more luxurious sleep, I promise!).

Anyway, I always treat myself to a new set every spring, and right now I have my eye on these lovely, crisp 800 thread count ones at House of Fraser.

9. Erode Throw by Missoni

When it comes to injecting a little colour (our house is VERY neutral and Scandi – sometimes too much so for my Irish other half), few things make my heart flutter in quite the same way as Missoni’s iconic stripes and zig-zag patterns can do.

Which is why I have my eye on this gorgeous throw, which will not only liven up my living room when draped across our very light grey sofa, but will also keep me snug while I am waiting on the weather outside to feel a little less baltic.

10. Fröer Growing Set For Herbs

This season, interior decor is all about greenery, whether we are talking huge potted fig leaf plants or a window full of your very own homegrown herbs and spices.

And as we are trying our very best to be both healthy and financially sensible (we are still glued to those blasted New Year’s resolutions) at the moment, we think growing our own condiments is a solid start.

Plus this little set will look so on point in our kitchen window!
