2. Pestle & Mortar Superstar Retinol Night Oil
When it comes to ingredients that have dermatologists really excited lately, retinol tops the list. And this luxurious, quick-absorbing night oil from amazing Irish skincare brand, Pestle & Mortar, is infused with no less than two types of retinol. Blended with a base of cold pressed grape seed oil your skin will soak up Superstar while you sleep, helping reduce pore size, tighten the skin while also improving elasticity.
Oh, and did we mention that this oil is completely free of animal-derived raw materials and organic solvent remnants, as well as being paraben-free, propylene-glycol-free, fragrance-free and not tested on animals? No? Well, it is.
Available from Arnotts, Avoca and selected retailers nationwide.
3. The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask
If you are looking for an affordable product that genuinely works, we cannot recommend Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask enough.
This delicious smelling, lightweight cream containing Edelweiss and plant stem cells leave the skin feeling instantly smooth and hydrated even without the eight hours (yeah!). Sleep in it and boom, say hello to gorgeous, super-hydrated skin.
Available from The Body Shop online and nationwide.
4. La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Sleep Mask
So, you might have to save a little for this one, but believe me when I say that it is worth it. Why? Because everything about this silky, delicious smelling cream is straight up amazing. While you snooze, papaya enzyme will gently exfoliate your skin, while the caviar extract firms, so that you really do wake up looking peachy perfect.
Available from Brown Thomas.
5. Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask
I am a huge fan of Origins products, not only because they are priced in a way so that most people can afford to buy them, but mostly because they genuinely do what it says on the tin, all the while also being gentle on your skin and the environment.
This mask is a staple in my beauty cabinet, and the minute my skin starts to feel a little dehydrated, if I have been on a flight, for instance, I put this ultra-rich, hydrating overnight mask on before bed and sleep my way to perfectly hydrated skin. There is avocado and apricot kernel oil in there that will instantly quench, as well as Japanese seaweed that helps repair the skin's barrier.
Oh, and it smells divine too.
Available at House of Fraser and Debenhams nationwide
