Bargain: You can get the biggest bag of the season at IKEA for €12

The basket bag has been on our radar for a few seasons now but it's really set to take over this spring and summer as a major accessory trend. It's the ultimate 'cool girl' piece for 2018 - relaxed, versatile, a little exotic and very much Instagram-approved. We reckon we're going be seeing a lot of these bags on the high street this year but one of our favourites is actually from IKEA. As it's a trend piece that you probably won't have forever, we wouldn't be splashing out on a basket bag. The IKEA Flaadis is ideal in that it's just €12 and so won't break the bank.   Think of it as your new tote bag - it's functional as well as stylish, with room for everything you might need on holidays. Stylist Avigail Collins told WhoWhatWear that she initially bought a few Flaadis baskets for her home but found herself using them as bags. "I'm very into Italy and how they dress over there—this basket bag completes that Italian Riviera look, and it's nice to have something when you're running around the city that reminds you of holiday," she said.
