When it comes to cleaning quickly and thoroughly, it's all about having a system in place. This five-step checklist will help get your bathroom clean in under 15 minutes. Tried and tested.
1 Get ready
Gather your products - microfiber cloths, toilet bowl cleaner, toilet brush, glass/window cleaner, all-purpose cleaner, vacuum/dustpan and brush, mop and bucket.
2 Get moving
Put dirty towels and bin outside the bathroom door; put anything that shouldn’t be out in a drawer or cupboard.
3 Get cleaning
Spray mirror with glass/window cleaner and wipe clean; clean toilet bowl with toilet brush, then add toilet cleaner; spray sink, surfaces and bath/shower with all-purpose cleaner. Let sit for a few minutes to disinfect while you empty bin, put dirty towels in laundry basket, put clean towels out.
4 Get wiping
Wipe everything you sprayed, then flush toilet.
5 Get on the floor
Starting with the corner furthest from the door, vacuum or sweep the floor, then mop.
