Great for jeans or skirts, the job of ankle boots is to be practical yet flattering. You want something that hits the right part of the calf to show your legs to their best advantage. A bit of heel is nice but make sure it’s manageable these boots were made for walking after all.

High waisted jeans are essential for everyone over the age of 20. Gone are the days when we could get away with the low rise jean. High waisted jeans are brilliant as they actually perform the function of a girdle and are infinitely more comfortable than their low rise counterparts. And face it we’re doing everyone a favour by keeping the muffin top (or mum pouch) under wraps.
