These Irish bridesmaid dresses are absolutely gorgeous

When it comes to bridesmaid ensembles, there isn't always a huge amount of choice and it can be difficult to find dresses that really stand out. However, up-and-coming fashion designer Emma Murnion has set a new standard for bridesmaid fashion after creating these stunning bespoke designs for her sister Louise's recent wedding. Emma and Niamh, who were Louise's bridesmaids, wore blush pink dresses (which as we know is the colour for bridesmaids this year) and the details of these designs results in a serious style statement. Both dresses were identical and featured Peter Pan collars, peplum waists and small fish tail trains (removable for dancing, a very clever detail). Emma also designed Louise's wedding dress, a stunning two-piece, with a full skirt for the main event and a 'party skirt' for the dancefloor. Flowergirl Annie was a mini me of Louise with her adorable dress and Louise's mother went with the blush pink theme too, choosing a dress in the same shade with beautiful embellished cape detail. Eugene Rooney, who was kind enough to tell us about this stylish wedding, explains that the wedding mass took place in Kilowen, outside Rostrovor, Down, and the reception was held in Dundalk's Ballymascanlon House Hotel. Fashion designer Emma is based in Hilltown, Down but she has worked with clients across the country and you can find out more about her designs here. It seems that pink is fast becoming the bridal colour for 2017 for as we've mentioned previously, it's dominating bridesmaid dresses this year but it's also fast becoming a popular choice for bridal shoes. Of course, the elegant shade is a timeless choice so although it's trending this year, we don't think it will never go out of fashion, both for bridalwear and everyday sartorial choices.
