This snuggly €12 Penneys jumper is the only thing we want to wear today

Tops, dresses, accessories - give us anything with a stripe and we're happy. In a time of microtrends when fashion moves at breakneck speed, it can feel like the pieces you bought just six months ago are already dated. That's why you can't beat a classic Breton-striped top. It's a piece that simply won't date and that you'll find yourself going back to again and again for years. There are always loads around at this time of year but this Penneys one caught our eye mainly because of its price tag. It's snug but not too chunky - just what we want to wear at this time of year - and looks a lot dearer than €12 with its flecked cream wool.
