Happy wedding weekend to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas!

The stars are officially married after saying "I do" in a Christian ceremony in Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur, India yesterday. It was officiated by Nick's dad Paul Kevin Jonas. The pair are due to have an official Hindu ceremony today. Priyanka opted for a stunning multicoloured custom-embroidered gown to yesterday's celebrations, while Nick also donned a traditional Indian outfit. Ralph Lauren confirmed that he had dressed the bride and groom. In a statement on Instagram, Priyanka said that bringing her and Nick's two cultures together was important to them as a couple.

"One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other's faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. "An important part of the pre wedding rituals for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own and it was an afternoon that kicked off the celebrations in the way we both dreamed."

Their wedding festivities kicked off on Wednesday with a number of traditional pre-celebrations, including a sangeet, a pre-wedding celebration which includes dances performance by family and friends. There was also a mehendi ceremony, where the bride has traditional henna tattoos applied to the palms of her hands and her arms; as well as a haldi ceremony, which is said to bless the couple and ward off evil. Nick and Priyanka got engaged in July of this year after a year of dating.
