‘Trick or Treat for Sick Children’ returns to raise funds for Children’s Health Foundation

This is such fun way to raise vital funds!

National broadcaster and mum-of-one, Alison Curtis, has returned for the annual Trick or Treat for Sick Children. She was joined by former Children’s Health Ireland patient Katie Whitty (6) for the launch of the fundraising campaign in aid of the Children’s Health Foundation. The Halloween-themed campaign is crucial for raising vital funds for sick children in Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly hospitals, and urgent care centres.

Organisers are calling on individuals, families, community groups, schools and more to embrace the season by hosting a Trick or Treat party and signing up for the party packs at www.childrenshealth.ie/trickortreat.

Big or small, hosting a monster ball can take place in any setting and fun for all involved, while raising money for an important cause.

Speaking at the launch of the 2023 Trick or Treat for Sick Children campaign, Alison Curtis urged members of the public to show their support for children with illnesses to register and host the Trick or Treat parties. "I’m honoured to be asked back again this year to be a part of the Trick or Treat campaign and contributing to raising awareness and funds for the extraordinary work carried out in the Children’s Health Foundation every day. "I urge anyone who is in a position to do so to register for a party pack and host a Trick or Treat party to support the children who are facing great challenges so early in life."

The closing date to register for 'Trick or Treat for Sick Children' party packs, which includes posters, stickers, and much more, is Monday, October 16th.
