Bernadette Connolly’s family issue new appeal on Crime Call

Bernadette Connolly has been missing since January 7.

Bernadette Connolly's family have appealed for help and information regarding the whereabouts of the 45-year-old on RTÉ's Crime Call. The Swords woman was last seen on January 7 at the car park of the Shoreline Hotel in Donabate. She had gotten there via taxi and was believed to have been walking towards the beach. Bernadette's family, including her daughter Jade, have been searching tirelessly for the past few weeks to locate her. Last night, Gardaí issued another public appeal for information regarding Bernadette. Sergeant Fintan Corcoran said that the family have been "distraught" as they continue their search. "It's a very difficult case, and Jade is Bernadette's only daughter," he said. "They're very distraught, and they're actively looking for any information from members of the public along with Gardaí to see if we can establish the whereabouts of Bernadette." Sergeant Corcoran said that Bernadette was last seen on CCTV footage walking towards Donabate beach. He added that the beach would have been busy that day, and appealed for anyone who saw anything to come forward. He said: "Bernadette went missing on the 07/01/2022, she got a taxi to the Shoreline Hotel just at directly the entrance to Donabate beach, and she got out of the taxi and walked towards the beach there. "It was a Friday and there would have been a lot of people on the beach even though it was a cold and wet day. It's a very popular beach, people walking their dogs etc, and we can just see Bernadette gets out at the car park of the Shoreline Hotel and waves the taxi off and makes her way to the entrance of the beach." https://www.instagram.com/p/CZXriDQsSYz/ Bernadette's daughter Jade has also been appealing for public information on social media. She is asking anyone who might have been on Donabate beach that day, or on the Malahide side, to reach out. She is also urging anyone who saw a woman carrying a hot pink towel to come forward.
