Aldi to limit number of Christmas toys customers can purchase

Additional safety measures will also be put in place ahead of the Christmas launch.

Aldi is to limit the number of Christmas toys customers can purchase.

The retailer will limit purchases to one of certain toys per customer, to ensure that all shoppers have the chance to avail of the deals.

Aldi’s Specialbuys Christmas toys range goes on sale this Thursday, October 22. The store has also organised additional safety measures to protect shoppers during the sale.

Customers will be able to purchase one unit of the following:

  • Large Wooden Toy Kitchen – Pink
  • Large Wooden Toy Kitchen – Grey
  • Premium Toy Kitchen
  • Toy Vanity Table, Stool and Access
  • Wooden Dolls House
  • Wooden Fire Station/Airport
  • Wooden Cleaning Set
  • Wooden Ironing Set/Airer Set
  • Wooden Play Shop/Theatre

A store marshal will also be assigned to each Aldi store to manage a ticketing system for entry, while ensuring any customer queues are orderly and social distancing strictly observed.

Aldi Group Managing Director, Niall O’Connor said: “Our Christmas Specialbuys toy range as always offers exceptional value and prices. The provision of a ticketing system will ensure as many shoppers as possible will get to avail of the offers and do so while shopping in a safe environment.”

The store’s Christmas toys Specialbuys go on sale this Thursday, October 22.
