Amy Huberman pens heartfelt tribute after the death of her dad

"A goodbye I was never going to be ready for."

Amy Huberman has penned a moving tribute to her father Harold. The actress said losing her dad is something she was never going to be prepared for. Alongside two beautiful photos, she wrote: "My wonderful wonderful Dad. Kind and generous, clever and curious, brave and bold, creative and talented." Amy said her dad was tenacious, dapper, and free-spirited. She also described him as encouraging, inspiring and ambitious. "Thank you for all the love Dad, for all the inspiration, for all the laughter." The Finding Joy star said saying goodbye to her dad was heartbreaking. Harold died just days after his 84th birthday.

"Heartbroken to say goodbye, a goodbye I was never going to be ready for." "Will love and miss you always, but so grateful that we were yours, and that you were ours. Huberman said she will treasure the memories she has of her dad forever. She also extended her gratitude to the public. Amy thanked everyone for the condolences, as well as supportive messages. "Thank you so so much for the lovely messages of condolence, kindness, and support." Harold Huberman died after a long battle with Parkinson's on May 27th. He passed away peacefully at Our Lady's Hospice Harold's Cross just days after his birthday. Amy's father was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2011.
