Andrew will discuss the loss of his children.

The line-up for this week’s Late Late Show has been confirmed.

Andrew McGinley will appear on tomorrow night’s show.

The dad will speak to host Ryan Tubridy about the loss of his three children Conor, Darragh, and Carla.

The grief-stricken father will open up about the death of his children and life after loss.

McGinley’s three children were killed by their mother Deirdre Morley in January 2020.

The mother was found not guilty by reason of insanity.

The mum was suffering from a mental disorder at the time of their death. She is being treated at the Central Mental Hospital.

There’s no doubt that the father’s brave appearance on the show will be incredibly harrowing and moving.

One viewer praised McGinley for participating.

They wrote: “That man has more strength than anyone I can think of. How anyone can bounce back from what he’s been through without any bitterness is beyond me. Seems like a lovely chap too.”

McGinley recently opened up about the trauma.

He admitted that he was feeling “lost” lately.

“As you can imagine, the relationship is difficult and complicated. And I have no contact at the moment. And I’m trying to.”

“But, that’s for me. I need to, I suppose work through that, but I need to work through that,” he added.

The dad continued, “So I can’t really, I’m a bit lost. I am in no contact at the moment.”

Rosanna Davidson, actress Ruth Negga, Kodaline’s Steve Garrigan, sportsman Peter Schmeichel will also appear on tomorrow night’s show.

Viewers can look forward to musical performances from Mick Flannery and Susan O’Neill. The duo will perform the duet Are We Free?

Moya Brennan will also appear on the show alongside accordion player Liam O’Connor.

The Late Late Show airs on RTÉ 1 at 9.35 pm.
