Aoibhín Garrihy and John Burke have welcomed their second child.
Proud mum Aoibhín shared an adorable Instagram post this evening describing her “crazy 24 hours”.
The couple’s second daughter arrived at 12.36 pm today and it’s clear that they’re overjoyed with their new arrival.
Posting an adorable snap of cream baby booties, the former Fair City actress wrote:
“What a crazy 24 hours it’s been…one minute you’re painting your nails with notions of an awards night, the next you’re on the labour ward at 2am…the result?
“The ULTIMATE reward, a perfect little sister for Hanorah, another beautiful Burke baby girl arrived today at 12:36pm and we are simply in love”.
We’re not crying, you’re crying.
Huge congratulations to Aoibhín, John and Hanorah who will make the most adorable big sister.
The little one’s name remains a secret for now but there’s no doubt that Aoibhín’s Instagram followers will be eager to find out.
Today’s news was announced on social media and it was met with great excitement much like her pregnancy announcement earlier this year.
It’s been a big year for the Garrihy family with middle sister Ailbhe marrying her partner, Ruaidhri Hehir at the beginning of October.
The couple had a two-day wedding held in two different venues, Gregans Castle and Hotel Doolin, with Ailbhe’s Wedding Wednesdays proving very popular over the last twelve months.
