Apparently, Hugh Grant would agree to a Notting Hill 2 – on these conditions

Notting Hill

How great would that be?

There is no denying that Notting Hill was one of our all-time favourite 90s romcoms, and one we’ll happily watch over and over again.

And if you have ever found yourself wondering what happened next – you know after we last saw William Thacker and Anna Scott sitting on a park bench with Will reading a book and Anna patting her baby bump happily – then Hugh Grant might have revealed how he thinks it all ended.

The 60-year-old recently did a press interview about his brand new TV venture with Nicole Kidman, The Undoing, when he was asked about previous movies – among them Notting Hill.

According to Digital Spy, Grant revealed that he’d indeed be open to do a sequal to the well-known and beloved movie, however, only under one condition – and it might be one that won’t go down too well with fans of the original movie.

Romantic comedy fans, look away now.

“I’d like to do me and Julia [Roberts] and the hideous divorce that’s ensued,” the actor revealed.

“With really expensive lawyers, children involved in tug of love, floods of tears, psychologically scarred forever. I’d love to do that film.”

Yikes.

Sounds a bit dark, no? However, sad as it all sounds, I think it’s safe to say we would still all watch it – I mean, we are talking that special Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts magic!

Notting Hill 2? Bring it!
