Apparently, there are certain terms or things people can say that indicates that they don't like a gift they have been given. With Secret Santa gifts being exchanged, we're all bound to hear one of these this festive season.
According to
Metro, a new survey has indicated the most common phrases people say when they are hiding the fact they hate a present.
The most popular is, "Thank you, it's lovely", followed by, "This is really useful". What they really mean is, "It's lovely, but not for me" and "Why did you buy me this?"
