Return immediately.

Argos Ireland has recalled a cot duvet that has been sold in Irish stores due to safety fears.

Customers who bought the cot duvet are being told to stop using the item – named Washable 4.0 Tog Duvet – Cotbed – immediately and return it to their nearest Argos outlet. It has also been confirmed customers will get a full refund on the product.

The retailer said: “It has come to our attention that the level of insulation provided by this duvet exceeds the specified rating. This may cause an infant to overheat.

“Stop using the duvet immediately and return it to an Argos store for a full refund of €15.00. You will not need a proof of purchase.

“Please be assured that no other products are affected by this recall.”
