Ben Foden and his wife Jackie have welcomed another baby girl
Ben Foden and his wife Jackie have announced the birth of their second child.
The couple confirmed Jackie gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in an interview with OK!
Ben and Jackie picked quite a unique name for their little girl, Olympia.
Olympia is their daughter’s full name, but they will call her Pia for short.
Speaking to OK!, the new parents said they’re overjoyed to welcome another child into their family.
Jackie said they’re feeling exhausted but so “incredibly lucky”.
“Olympia – or, as we call her, Pia – is her mum’s double. I’m incredibly lucky,” he gushed.
Ben and Jackie confirmed they were expecting another child together in October 2023.
Before welcoming their second child, the couple suffered multiple devastating miscarriages.
Jackie explained that they were so heartbroken that they nearly gave up hope, but she then discovered she was pregnant in April 2023.
As happy as they were, the pair were hesitant about sharing their news due to their past heartbreak.
The mum said she was afraid of getting her hopes up again, but is finally ready to share the news with the world.
She said: “I kept getting excited about the pregnancies, but nothing stuck. After the third, we kept thinking, ‘We’ll see if it happens – if it does, it does and if it doesn’t, it doesn’t.’”
Ben and Jackie are already parents to a daughter named Farrah.
He also shares two children, a son Tadhg, and a daughter Aoife, with his ex-wife Una Healy.
