Bethany Platt left devastated by mum Sarah on Corrie tonight

Ah, god.

Bethany Platt is set for a bit of a shock tonight as she walks in on mum Sarah and Adam Barlow having a bit of a moment. As in, they're getting fairly intimate with each other. As in, they're in each other's arms. As in, things are moving forward for the two of them and Bethany is not at all happy because she still like Gary despite the fact that he is legit becoming a loan shark. Tonight's instalment of the soap will see Bethany walk in on the pair getting a bit frisky (touching mildly), causing her to become fairly devastated due to her allegiance to Gary. While Gary continues to fight for his life tonight, Bethany will walk in on her mum and Adam and be absolutely infuriated by the whole scenario. Sarah, who is in fairness trying to move on from a relationship that was less than ideal, had planned on telling her daughter about the situation when the time was right. She unfortunately doesn't get that chance before Bethany just straight up walks in on the two of them - and naturally loses it. Bethany tells Sarah that she can't believe what she's doing and that she's disgusted she would betray Gary like this. When, in fairness to her, Gary has arguably done a lot worse to her. Bethany storms out leaving Sarah to wonder how in God's name she's going to patch things up... and Adam just happy enough to be getting some, tbh. Coronation Street continues tonight.
