Bláthnaid Treacy is officially back on air!
Bláthnaid Treacy has returned to work for the first time after giving birth to her baby girl. The presenter confirmed she is returning to the airwaves after three months of maternity leave.
Bláthnaid will be presenting the Official Chart Show on RTÉ 2FM every Friday night.
She confirmed her exciting news on Instagram by sharing a photo of her in the studio.
The new mum said: “I’M BAAAAAACK. So happy to be back live on the air with you every Friday night with the Official Chart Show 7pm -9pm!”
“Massive thank you to Conor Behan for keeping the seat warm while I was on Mat Leave,” she added.
The mum’s followers were thrilled to hear her news with many saying they couldn’t believe how quick her maternity leave went.
One fan said: “Best of luck Blaitnaith, hope you enjoyed your break. Great to see you back on 2FM.”
“Excellent news, we’ve missed you,” another said.

The mum gave birth to her first child in June. Bláthnaid and her husband Charlie welcomed a baby girl named Nancy into their family on June 28th.
“Thank you for making us a family Nancy, we love you to the moon and back, forever and ever,” she wrote following her baby’s birth.
Bláthnaid added: “Thank you for making me a mum Charlie, Nancy is the luckiest girl in the world to get to call you her dad, we love you endlessly.”
“She is the greatest love of our lives and the flipping image of her dad,” the proud mum added.
